Mr. James Ramage

Mr. Ramage is beginning his 29th year in ECISD and his 20th year in school administration for the 2023-2024 school year.  Mr. Ramage is an Odessa native and attended public schools at Ross Elementary, Hood Junior High School (now called Wilson & Young Middle School), and graduated from Permian High School in 1988.  He has a Bachelors Degree in History from Texas Tech University (1993), and a Master Degree in Education and Principal Certification from Sul Ross State University (1999).  Mr. Ramage has served ECISD as a US Government and US History teacher, a Student Council Sponsor, a Fine Arts Magnet Director, and an Assistant Principal all at Odessa High School (12 years).  He has also served as Principal of both Bonham Middle School (8 years) and also Permian High School (4 years).  This is his 5th year at Odessa Collegiate Academy.  Mr. Ramage is married to his wife, Stephanne, for 28 years.  She is also beginning her 29th year in ECISD and is a Dyslexic Therapist at Barbara Jordan Elementary.  Mr. and Mrs. Ramage have 3 children (1 grown & married, 1 in college, & 1 in high school - and all products of ECISD) and 2 grandsons.  Mr. Ramage is a member of Texas Association of Secondary School Principals.
